Masada Water is Premium Bottled Water from one of Nature's greatest Natural Springs, Big Spring. The minerals that are imparted to the water during its subterranean journey give it a sweet taste. When chilled it is noticeably superior to the discerning palette.
Nature's "Big Spring" Water
"Big Spring" is considered one of the largest natural springs in the Southeast Region. Pushing out 11.4 million gallons daily the flow has never been interrupted. At a constant 52 F, the crisp cool water is believed by scientist to be underground for as long as 14 years before reaching the surface. Their filtration process follows the industry and federal regulations and has been approved by the IBWA. The first step in the filtration is the use of charcoal-carbon filters. These filters are so small that even viruses, which can be as small as 1 micron, are caught and removed. The next step is ultraviolet rays, which render any micro bacteria and organism harmless, and then passes through another 1-micron "absolute" filter. The final step in the process occurs just before the water is dispensed into the bottle. Ozonation is the super saturation of water with oxygen to virtually disinfect the water. The ozone is harmless to humans and is actually released when the security seal on the cap is released.
So what makes Masada water different from other water companies? For one, Masada water desires to improve the lives of suffering humanity throughout the world. Masada provides a regular means of support to a number of not-for-profit organizations. Angie Fuller, founder of Masada water, found a creative way to support charitable needs by simply redirecting money we already spend on bottled water. Through a reverse "tithe" 90% of the profits are forwarded to support her favorite organizations while 10% is invested in the company. One of the nonprofit organizations Masada water supports is Women to the World, an organization that rescues women and children from poverty, dependency and abuse.
